Swimming Lessons Feedback weeks

YMCA South Australia swimming lessons programs aim to Assess all student (preschool & up) every 60 days that’s 6 times per year.

While the teacher continually assesses all students in our program for improvement and readiness for upgrading to the next level, these dedicated weeks allow the Teacher in Charge to provide families feedback on each student's attained skills and progression.

If you are enrolled into our Babies program (Under 3 years) these levels are age based progression and your swim teacher will let you know once ready to move up.

You can view your child progress anytime on the client Portal

Account > Skills > and select your child's name in drop down option.

Please note assessment week dates are subject to change at any point due to any unforeseen circumstances, and alternative dates will be updated.

2026 Dates for Assessment (Feedback) Weeks:

Round 1: 16 February – 2 March

Round 2: 27 April – 2 May

Round 3: 22 – 27 June

Round 4: 27 – 22 August

Round 5: 12 - 17 October

Round 6: 30 November – 5 December
