Biggest Morning Tea raises $1,106 at The Valleys

This May our community came together and raised $1,106.90 for the Cancer Council at its Australia's Biggest Morning Tea, with six raffles and online donations combining to reach the total.

The event was made more meaningful by the involvement of Physio Clare, whose team joined the morning tea alongside YMCA SA staff. A representative from Physio Clare shared their personal experience on the day, grounding the fundraiser in something real for everyone in the room.

The partnership between YMCA SA and Physio Clare through the Strength for Life program, delivered in collaboration with COTA SA, already connects older South Australians with exercise support. The Biggest Morning Tea reflects those same connections into a different context, one focused on cancer awareness and community solidarity.
